TRAINING
We specialize in training four to five year old Icelandic horses to understand the communication they receive from their rider and all the signals that indicate gait changes. Each horse is different and we ensure that the training matches the needs of the horse.

Nina Pia is in training since this spring she scored First prize for conformation in 2006. She goes extremely well and we have a lot of expectation for the next evaluation.

- Jodis in training as a 4 year old in 2003. Fitjamyri is proud that Jodis fra Fitjamyri, the first ever Canadian 1st-prize horse, was bred right here on our farm. She is the daughter of Thor fra Fitjamyri & Geafa fra Litlu-Hildisey (one of Fitjamyri's brood mares). She was evaluated at the 2008 Feif Evaluations (video) by Barbara Frische and Silke Freuchthofe. Congratulations to her owners, the Marenbachs!
